FP7-KBBE InfoDays Transnational Cooperation in Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and Biotechnology 29-30Nov07
FP7 European Information and Brokerage Days
Transnational Cooperation in Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and Biotechnology
29th & 30th November, Brussels
Transnational cooperation with New EU Member States and Candidate Countries within Europe, as well as international cooperation between EU and non-EU countries is an important aspect of FP7 and is an integral part of Theme 2 on Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology. International cooperation is implemented in Theme 2 via two mechanisms:
Opening up all research activities to researchers and research organisations from third countries. Moreover, several topics in the Work Programme, where mutual benefit is envisaged, specifically encourage participation of third countries participants.
Specific International Cooperation Actions (SICA). SICA projects, where third country participation is a requirement, aim to generate, share and apply knowledge through research partnerships with third countries in selected areas, where mutual interest and benefit from such actions is known to exist.
This event is organised by TrainNet Future in cooperation with Injoy&Train, Food-n-Co, EU-Balkan-Fabnet, Meda Go to Europe and PAEPARD projects with the support of the European Commission.
The objective of the event is to bring together research stakeholders, industry representatives and Commission officers and provide ground for discussion and networking within the scope of the Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology Theme. The event will include a presentation of the areas addressed by the 2008 call, presentations of proposal ideas and a session of pre-arranged bilateral meetings to discuss potential partnerships in FP7 proposals.
TrainNet Future provides 1 night (29-30 November) free accomodation for the first 30 participants presenting project ideas.

It would have been interesting if one could click on the references (workshops in Brussels on the 29th and 30th) and view the presentations.
Perhaps it might be too large for your site??
